   Petr BERANEK
Multi talented, Petr Beranek is a painter, an engraver and also a stained glass artist. As engraver he is realizing a particular type of works, the «gumprints». The latter result of a process of digital re-worked photographies, printed of a canvas or a paper formerly painted with one or many coats of colours.

Most of the time a few images are printed on the same support, which creates here and there a certain humour or irony, originality and a great complexity.

Petr Beranek works in Bern and Masevaux in Alsace (France). Of Czekoslovak origin, he studies at the Visual Art School of Münchenstein near Basle (1991-2000). Numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and in Europe, individually or in group. He teaches at the Fayum International Winter Art Academy in Egypt, and at the private school of Netzwerk Malerei in Münchenstein. Of international notoriety, his works are exhibited across Europe, namely Germany, Switzerland and Czekoslovakia and belong to numerous private and public collections.
